• Bush is not responsible for 9/11. If any body is to blame it should be Clinton for not letting Bin Laden go when he was in custody. America is a safer place today because of the stuff the FBI, CIA, Bush administration and the military have done. The Iraqi people are better off too, now that Saddam is gone and they are governing themselves. Freedom is always a better choice than tyranny, and we brought them that.

  The women are now aloud to hold jobs, vote, and go to school. They are aloud to have movie theaters. There aren't prisons for children. They elect their own government. The aren't forced to have portraits of their leaders in every home, office, hospital, etc. No one has to worry about being ripped from their beds at night and tortured and never seen again for speaking their opinions. The national soccer team can lose without fear of execution. Young girls aren't forced into prostitution to serve the government officials. Boys aren't taken from their homes as children and forced to be soldiers.

• No, they did all of that themselves... not to say the us didn't help (they did), but the us meddled more than was necessary. they brought the change themselves. and bush certainly caused more mayhem than was necessary. war was not the answer - civilians were involved, and killed, while you stayed comfortably in your home with central heating and abundant water and all the other comfy things while they were terrified of the aircraft bombing their homes and killing their loved ones.

  You need to remember That Bush did not act alone. He had agreement from Congress, and help from the United Nations. Also he acted within international law. It only became Bushes War once it became unpopular.

  Obama campaigned on a promise to end fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. If the wars over there so wrong a criminal then why is Obama sending more troops to both places and prolonging instead of ending the wars.
