Can I use an internal four port SATA RAID IDE card for just using it for a DVD burner, Blu ray buner, ect...? Because Im already using my other six motherboard SATA ports for RAID 5 on six HDD's.

    Yes, yes you can.. As long as your DVD Burner is not IDE (:

    Yes but you should check if your PSU can handle it or it'll not work or just blow!

    you should be able to use an internal controller card to run a dvd burner.

    I haven't ever heard of a SATA RAID IDE card. If it is IDE, it can control an IDE burner. If it is SATA, it can control a sata burner.

    by the way, have you looked on your motherboard? you probably already have an IDE controller built in separate from the sata ports.
