Percocet: Have your dentist call in a prescription for this pain killer since you can't see him/her before Monday. The other alternative is Tylenol or aspirin. Aspirin will actually help reduce the swelling also.
Ice and ice water. whiskey might work too even IF you're not legal age..pain is pain..
Ice water helps slow the pain down in an abscessed tooth. Hurts like hell at first, but cools off the inflammation.
I would find someone who could see me today. You might need to try to drain it if it's bad enough. I feel for you.
If you of legal drinking age, I would put a small amount of whiskey on the gum line where the problem is. Also, I would apply an ice pack to my swollen face.
I would either call your dentist and get something for the pain as well as some antibiodic for the infection because it is 2 days away until you can see him and it will most likely get worse. If you can't see him I'd go to the ER and get the pain meds and antibiodic.
