A Computer is basically stupid and it needs telling what to do.A Driver is a small program that links your hardware to the Computer for example Printer,Scanner etc.
The Computer knows that you have connected something to it but it doesn't know what.so that's where the driver comes in to tell the Computer exactly what you have connected ,and open a link between them.
Your car is useless in the drive without a driver. The same goes for a computer program or hardware installed. They need a driver to maneuver through the grid of your operating system.
A driver is a bit of computer software that needs to be installed for your hardware to work.
For example, if you need to connect up a printer, chances are you need to install the drivers for your printer onto your computer first, just so that you can communicate with your printer without any issues =)
Drivers allow parts in your computer to be recognized and to function properly. It's a good idea to update your drivers regularly for this reason.
drivers are the medium through which u can enjoy the computer accessories becoz without driver they are useless and ur pc is just a wastage without the drivers
