Help answer this question below.
Let's see. First of all where is your evidence that they had to try multiple times to find people that would go along with their scheme. According to the people who did the sting, the videos that they posted are the only locations where they attempted the sting. So, that is five out of five places where representatives gave advice on how to set up an underaged prostitution ring.
The second point is something that just came to me. If ACORN is really so innocent, then why are they suing these people? If they are really so innocent, then they should be thanking these people for exposing the staff members that were misbehaving so that they could get rid of them. Are they grateful? No. They are going after the people who did the sting. This does not show that they are repentant for the actions of their people. It shows that they are trying to shift the blame off of themselves.
Slice it and spin it any way you want, but ACORN has been shown for what it is.
The bottom line is ACORN employees did do these things and any publicly funded organization that is under suspicion already should be doing everything possible to elimate those suspicions. I saw the national director of acorn being interviewed the other day and her demeanor did not make me feel one bit confident and if it was up to me I would have notified her she was terminated the moment she walked off the set. I am not a supporter of republicans for what it is worth but this is not an issue that should be defended or excused by anyone.
No, I don't find any of that odd.
Nice try, but you can't shine s--t.
Oh. Gee. Thanks for pointing that out. I guess what the ACORN employees did was OK then. Phew.

You're reading Isn't it odd that the people who did the ACORN sting video self financed it, are profiting from it, and had to try it multiple times before they found ACORN members dumb enough to go along?

Is a police report evidence enough for you?
And as for why they are suing... Um, taping someone without their consent and knowledge is.. what's the word..? oh yes.. a Crime.
by Rude Bear Ready for Winter on September 29th, 2009
taping someone without their consent is not a crime. it happens all the time
by charliethegreat on September 30th, 2009
So, which is the greater crime here, taping someone without their knowledge or permission or knowingly helping someone to setup a child prostituion ring? If you ask me, I think that all this bellyaching about illegally taping someone in who was willing to do such a thing is just so much trying to deflect blame away from those that are truly guilty of corupt behavior.

carefully deflecting away from the proof that they tried at more offices than they reported, and failed... A police report is great evidence.
by Rude Bear Ready for Winter on September 30th, 2009
And, it is illegal to tape a conversation or phone call unless both parties are aware and consent. The only exception is the police, and only with a warrant.

even in a publically financed groups office? i wonder, but i dont know for certain.
