It depends on what the price is and how satisifed you are. *Edit* Also your relationship with the hair dresser is important. If it is the first time, I tip a little more to establish a relationship. Also if they have been cutting your hair for years, a little more.

i would probably not tip them but get them a boquet of flowers to show my appreciation!

gauge the amount against how good a job they did, start at $5, go from there.

I go with 15-20%, just like a restaurant.
