  • If someone got on their internet from another computer, the porn would not be on their computer or in their browser's history. Chances are it was them looking at porn (unless someone else uses that computer). No big deal, lots of people do it.
  • anyone else have an opinion?
  • Why would you confront the owner of the computer on his use of his own computer?
  • Extremely unlikely, though with trojans/backdoors/etc almost anything is possible. but why would someone who has a botnet bother to use this computer to surf porn? btw, "them" does not mean "him or her."
  • That kinda remind me of the time I explained to my girlfriend the reason I had 3 strippers in my living room was because their car broke down by my front door & I let them in so they could call AAA !!!
  • If you were using someone else's computer, then perhaps other persons besides yourself and the other person use it. However it's almost certain that the porn was accessed from that computer - either intentionally or by clicking on links that seem to lead to something else.
  • Yes it's possible. Regardless of if s/he's telling the truth, what's it any business of yours? You both snuck around on his/her computer and felt the need to... 'confront' them on this. Looks to me like you were just looking for a fight. Grow up.
  • Who cares if someone else had porn on their own computer anyway? Why would YOU "confront" them?
  • Maybe i am close to said person and was worried, therefore confronted them. I "AM" trying to keep it a little anonymous, therefore why i worded the question this way.. So can anybody give me a logical answer besides lostmonster?
  • Being as it was my childs computer, and i was curious of what they had been viewing due to his behavior as of late. Dont think that i have a need to grow up..
  • My dag found cigarettes in my room once when i was a kid. My respone was "its not mine, someone must have left them in my room" You would be amazed at what parents will believe because they want to think their children are telling the truth.
  • HAHAHAHAHA!!! i love it when kids lie to their parents as if we are the dumbest people in the world ... if someone used your wireless internet connection to view porn (which is VERY common, so make sure you have it secured), then it would NOT have left a trail on the kid's pc ... your kid was surfing porn and spanking it ... time to sit him down and talk to him one on one about it ... if you haven't had the sex talk, NOW is the time ... also warn him about the dangers of surfing those sites as they are prime for virus, trojan, worms, etc ...
  • Technically it's possible as if they've got a porn dialler or a trojen then it will upload and download but to really find out you're looking at internet history, content, location, and timescale. Right click on the video or image and select properties, it should give you created, modified, accessed dates and times. go into your browser and open up surf history at those dates. If you've a list of porn sites or sites close together then you know it's deliberatly downloaded as no hacker or malware/trojen will download to my docs, content from sites it's usually in the windows or temp folders.
