I just found out that some of the buildings in silicon valley receive liquid nitrogen from a central utility (like gas and water). anybody seen that anywhere else?

    It would likely be a great cost savings if many things were piped instead of delivered but, like the rail system, the government has not allowed for low-cost pipelines or package delivery systems.

    In a high-tech area would make sense to do this, a single supply depot away from the major traffic will cut down on delivery problems & accidents
