Help answer this question below.

Im a 12 year old girl who likes art, clothes & fashion design. I hate all sports, especially ones having to do with running. What would be a good after school activity for me?

    omg girl u HAVE to dance! lol i'm exactly like u. I LOVE fashion and i'm probably gonna be a fashion designer when i grow up.I hate almost every sport.I've never even been on any kind of sports team or whatever.

    I started dancing when i was 3.I'm a pretty good dancer and its nice because its a girly actuvity, and it helps keep you in shape too! i take tap jazz hiphop ballet and some other advanced classes.You should REALLY try it!

    What kind of art do you like? Maybe you can try writing books. There is a great oppurtunity for writing childrens books. Young adults such as your self might have a better insight on childrens books than some one older.

    Art club...if your school doesnt offer an Art club then try to start your own...that way youll have a better resume when applying for college

    Arts and crafts classes. Locally, they are held at our Parks and Recreation center. You may have something similar in your area.

    Have you checked out stores like Jo-Ann Fabrics? They always have inexpensive classes for like-minded people. The classes are usually posted on a bulletin board or at the Customer Service counter. You can share and learn at the same time.

    oh woah same 4 me! im in cross country after school and its fun but they REALLY push into running for like, 30 min. nonstop. i got used 2 it, though. T_T

    Do you take art classes in school? Talk to the teacher and see if they have any recommendations about what is available where you live. There are often community centers of some sort that offer art classes. Or maybe they could help you find a local artist that might let you spend a little time working with them where you could learn from them in exchange for doing a little work for them (sort of an apprenticeship).
