Isn't there a hygiene issue with thong underwear? Because they literally go right up your butt and the material is actually touching your anus.

I don't see what so wrong about this question...Just because you mentioned 'anus' it's not like wrong. Anyways, I guess it you wash every day and do change your underwear every day, I don't see why it should be so bad. The only problem is that (pardon my words) if you don't wipe well enough after you *go* then it might cause an infection. I guess it's not much worse than wearing panties because the material is touching your (my language again) butt cheeks...

No, not a long as you have a habit of showering everyday, and washing clothes. (And they don't do that, anyway)

You've got to use the provided cleanning supplies after going to the toilet or you'll have skid marks on the thong. In other words be sure to wipe real good and you won't have a bit of problems.

Keep your self clean and wash at least once a day, more if you work out.

The "germs to the vagina" myth is just that, a myth. More important is to make sure any underwear fits correctly, is not too tight, or too loose and does not chafe. You also want to select thongs that are cut well and constructed out of the appropriate fabric so that they breath.

I have heard a few things like it can spread "butt" germs to the vagina, which, I am sure you know, isn't cool. It also isn't cool if you are wearing these, and have a partner perform oral sex. Could make them ill. But, yes, hygiene is the key word. keep clean.
