I approach this anniversary with prayers. Prayers for the lives lost and the people who lost loved ones. Prayers for the people in New York City who were there to help and witness the devastation that they may be healed. Prayers for peace. Prayers for terrorists, that they be converted from destroyers to builders.

I don't think another American airplane will be hijacked again. There's far too many people who'd rather die than see the plane hit a monument. Like the flight that went down, you'd see people fight back. So I'm happy to fly any day any time.

i'm doing what i do every friday ... gripe about traffic on the way into work ... sit at my desk and do the bare minimum amount of work to stay employed ... gripe about the traffic on the way home ... you know, what the majority of americans do every day ... unfortunately, too many of us have forgotten what happened and why it happened ... its much easier to stay in your routine and your rut until someone (or an exploding plane full of people) wake you up

I just watched another documentary yesterday about it. It brought it back. It was called 102 minutes that changed America, Should have been called "That changed the world"
I was in US at the time. It is still poignant but not to be repeated I think.
It hasnt been tried again but I would be wary on landmark anniversaries of it.

I think it is silly. If someone wanted to hit us again, they wouldn't do it on the anniversary of 9/11, when so many people will already be on edge.

i think there are many people who will always fear something all around the world and on anniversaries of major events that took place these fears(urban legends)are born and fuelled along.i hope more attacks don't happen and everyone should remember and pay respect to all who were touched by 9/11 on anniversary day.
