My truck squeels when i start it. Changed serpentine belt it stopped then started up again? Squeels only when I start it.

Any chance your power steering pump or valve cover gasket are leaking onto the belt?

Make sure you put the belt on correctly,there should be a belt diagram on vehical under the hood.Yes it will go differant ways but there is one correct way.

unless it is a bad bearing on the water pump or compresser or something like that it's just under a lot of stress at that time try spraying it with some belt dressing
