Shelves and plastic drawers for under the bed for more storage space. I know you probably can't paint a dorm room but the color lime green is a relaxing color. It is best for offices and dorm rooms where you will be studying. Helps with consentration and getting things done. Get a mini fridge and a microwave and don't order pizza all the time or you WILL get fat. Good Luck.

Keep the room free of clutter. Also, if you have any essential oils, put a few drops in a bowl of boiled water, and leave it in the room. It will make the room smell lovely.

I read that textiles are a nice, cheap way to make plain rooms nicer. Do you have an Ikea near where you live? they have loads of ideas and ingenious things at a good price. You can also get a catalogue for some inspiration.

allposters.com wait for the free shipping sales or buy 2 get 1 free. also, ikea is a great idea. so is target. they make really cheap lamps, bookshelves, side tables, etc that are $30 or less at target and they are really easy to put together.
