Being molested. Especially from a loved one. Or seeing a family member die in front of your eyes. Those are the two worst ones I can think of.

From my experience, I would abuse whether physical or psychological directed not only toward the child, but used on other siblings as well. I would have to say the mental aspect was the worst and would rather have been beaten than manipulated, this has created a huge trust issue for people's motives in my life, whether it be dating relationships or just friendship.

When my parents drove all of us children to Old MacDonald's Farm piled in the station wagon and we parked the car, got out, and then realized we didn't have enough money for all of us to go in so we had to get back in the care and leave. We cried all the way home!
