Well, the Bible says he does and the Bible is infallible because the Bible is God's word because the Bible says so.

    Something like that anyway.

There IS no proof that God exists.

As I'm sure people have said elsewhere, belief in the existance of God is a matter of FAITH, because you CANNOT prove that God exists.

Another member once asked a similar question, with a twist to it: "If you were God, would you choose to give undeniable proof of your existance..."

And the answer I gave to THAT was NO, because I COULDN'T provide direct, undeniable proof of my existance because it would be impossible. In order to more clearly understand my reasoning on this, check the answer below:

there NO proof that God exists. saying that because man exists is no proof to me nor is the bible. I believe man arose through evolution. just because the bible says something doesn't make it true. also, the bible if full of contadictions and 100's of different interpretations.

Rather, I believe it's a matter of personal choice to believe or not to believe. No one can prove to me that God exists. Nor can I disprove it.

I think its more likely that we are an experiement of an advanced civilization than God created..how's that for odds.

@guardian: You haven't the foggiest idea what evolution is, nor how carbon dating works. Just because they were trying to teach you evolution at school while you were stubbornly refusing to listen doesn't mean you learned it.

God exists because the bible says so. The bible is true, they found proof at the bottom of the red sea.

There are lots of proofs. The cosmological proof, the ontological proof, the proof from first cause, the whole of natural theology, but the problem with them all is that they only prove god exists to the believer in that particular god. If they prove anything they prove that a god exists, with no necessary logical connexion to any particular idea of a god, and most agnostic philosophers, those neither committed to theism nor to atheism, find fallacies in all of the proofs.

There is no coherent logical proof of the existence of any god. You have to believe in the existence of your chosen god in the absence of evidence: you need faith. By the way, I have an excellent gold brick for sale; believe me: it's worth a great deal of money. Don't ask to see it, just pay me the money.

There is much "proof" but not in the way you necessarily want to accept because as many times as I have seen this question asked here on AB it is done more for arguments sake rather than understandings sake. If you know where to look and how to understand what you are seeing and reading you will know nothing in this universe is by accident but has an intelligent mind behind it. The simple name for this intelligence is God.

only interested in providing clear statements based on facts and logic and then allow the individual decide for themselves who they would like to believe. There have always been people who believed in the existence of God and there have always been those who have denied in His existence. We must realize there are those who will never believe no matter how much proof or evidence we produce. The reason is some people don't want to believe in a Creator or Sustainer. They would not like to consider one day they will have to answer for their actions and for their refusal to acknowledge their Benefactor to whom they owe their very existence. We come to know it is not so much a matter of us trying to convey our beliefs as it is for them to set aside preconceived prejudices against proper belief. Meaning: this is really a matter of guidance from Above. If they refuse even with evident proofs in front of them, this is not between us and them; it is between them and their Creator. Again, it is not our job to "prove" anything to anyone. We only need to present the facts in truth and allow the listener to make up their own mind.

We just begin with simple logic. When something is right in front of our eyes it is difficult to deny it, right? Asking rhetorical questions can be very helpful in presenting our case. Begin by asking the question; "Can you prove you exist?" Yes, of course you can. You merely use your senses to determine what you can see, hear, feel, smell, taste and you have emotions as well. All of this is a part of your existence. But this is not how we perceive God in Islam. We can look to the things He has created and the way He cares for things and sustains us, to know there is no doubt of His existence.

One approach is to suggest simple yet convincing experiments anyone could comprehend. For instance, say to someone, "Consider this the next time you are looking up at the moon or the stars on a clear night; could you drop a drinking glass on the sidewalk and expect it would hit the ground and on impact it would not shatter, but it would divide up into little small drinking glasses, with iced tea in them? Of course not."

Another example is have them consider what might happen if a tornado came through a junkyard and tore through the old cars; would it leave behind a nice new Mercedes with the engine running and no parts left around? Naturally not.

Or ask someone to consider what it would be like if someone told us about a fast food restaurant operating itself without any people there? The food just cooks itself, files from the kitchen to the table and then when we are done, the dishes jump back the kitchen to wash themselves. This is too crazy for anyone to even think about.

After reflecting on all of the above, how could we look to the universe above us through a telescope or observe the cells in a microscope and then think all of this came about as a result of a "big bang" or some "accident"?

    (see also "Quran")

If you need more i will provide you dear.

    You are one of many....

Read the book by Josh McDowell, "Evidence that demands a verdict" there are over 3,000 000 copies sold. Although no proof is possible, God has made sure of that, this book will probably give you some answers.

As you read it, your Faith will witness to your heart (Soul) if what you are reading is the truth. The better book yet to read, is the Bible.

    in Christ...

    Consider the "3 Cs"
    1. Conscience-- humanity has the ability to distinguish between right and wrong (conscience). The ability to make moral decisions is given by God. In His moral likeness, He created us. However, sin has corrupted our ability to always make the right moral judgments or to carry them out. We are morally imperfect (through sin), while God is morally perfect. Nonetheless, we have moral sensitivity and the corresponding responsibility to live according to the moral dictates of our consciences insofar as they are aligned with God's standards (outlined in the Holy Bible).

    2. Creation-- the created universe in which we live is orderly and under the watchful control of its Creator. All sciences endeavor to uncover the laws by which our created universe is governed. The author and governor of those laws is God. (You may wish to read up on some "Intelligent Designer" arguments.) Before the created universe existed, God existed. He is the "uncaused first cause" from which all else has come into existence.

    3. Christ Jesus-- God who took on human form. He is a historical figure that even non-Christian religions acknowledge existed, though they differ in what they believe about Him.

He came and openly taught about the Father (God) and Himself claimed to be God (the Son). As a historical figure who demonstrated Godhood by His predicted resurrection, following His sinless life and predicted crucifixion, Christ Jesus stands as the most credible witness to the existence of God. He Himself was God in human form.

We who follow Christ attest to the existence of God and Jesus' Godhood.

Yes, God has given evidences that He exists.

Hope this helps. I expect someone will question or dispute what I have stated here.
