Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a 93 vw golf 1.4l with a problem. It cranks but doesn't start unless you hold the throttle wide open. I've changed the throttle body, spark pluge, cap, rotor, coil, and fuel fliter. Once the car is running it runs good. can anybody help

The only thing I can think of that could cause this is the throttle position sensor, though this will usually cause problems while running as well.
