Help answer this question below.

Credit Reports, things are supposed to be removed from your credit report after 7 years if they have been paid in full and closed, and/or inactive. Is this true? And do they automatically fall off or do you have to request to have them removed?

    Well, I got one of my credit reports so far, the other 2 havent come yet, (I was told they are all pretty similar) and so far all the stuff that has been over 7 years is gone. I never requested them to be removed. I will update this when I receive the other reports if you want.

    I would like to know this as well. I do know that if a company re-opens it or sends you info. The account adds another year to how long it stays. Like one of the credit reporting agencies says under each listing this is reported to stay on file until.....
