I only saw the first one. :) What I really liked about it was the constant feeling there was something with one of the two guys and not being able to put my finger on it. It had a 'nice' feeling of paranoid about it, I liked the way they had to trust and distrust each other. The whole psychological thing between the guys is way more important then the whodunnit. I loved the simplicity of it in idea and setting. Very strong.

I've only seen the complete original movie; but I loved it because it was an original plot that kept me "on the edge of my seat" waiting to see what would happen next and not being able to figure out the plot right from the beginning like so many movies. It was a psychological thriller; and I prefer that to the usual "where's the guy with the axe" fare.

I watched the first one all the way threw, and thought it was a great film. I turned of the second one before it was done, I thought it sucked. If the third one happens to play on one of the three channels I have, I might consider watching it.

Yeah the movies have a great atmosphere, a nice creepy and gritty urban imagery, and one hell of a plot, and while the plot is ridiculous, exaggerated and outrageous, at least it's there, worked on and pretty much center stage, which is saying a lot for a movie where the only reason people go see it is to watch people die. With that said, I'm totally superficial, and I watch these primarily because I enjoy seeing how brutal and imaginative they can get with the traps, or ordeals, if you will. Which is why the last two are slightly disappointing, they seem to be running outta ideas...still a good time if you like gore though. :)
