It comes down to personal preference. I know of people that have preferred it that way. Personally, I wanted to be at the hospital in case there were any complications (plus the pain killers)!
Well, if the appropriate drugs are readily available....sure!!
I think the idea of home births are lovely. I nearly had one myself but it just took too long so i had to go to hospital to be monitored.
it works for some, not me..............
i think if you feel comfortable with it then it's great .. i know ppl who have had it @ home and they really liked it and had no complications w/ it.

My neighbor just died after giving birth , why ? this is 2011 and she was healthy and happy, what could have happened ? I'm sad , help plz
