They must have a community meeting to let the home owner know they are going to do this and it must be put to vote to the entire association. All must have knowledge of this. And proper notification of all meetings, whether community or board meetings. Most bylaws show percentage of vote to pass such a large purchase or sale. Check the bylaws and state statute and tell them the information. Get all people involved. If this is your only nest-egg, why are they selling it now, the association might need it for future money for say damage from a storm or such. Check it out.
