  • Its like a house. There is the living room area with a tv with local channels that require no cable where they could watch tv. There is a computer and a phone, however you need to sign up for its usage, since so many request it, they give you like 10 min. for each, that way you can find a job. There is a kitchen where at certain times, usually 8, 12, and 5 meals are served. Then if your lucky you get to sleep there, they have bunk beds and of course showers. If you don't get a bunk bed you can sleep on the floor but if its so full and there is no walking space they wont take you, you have to try again the next day. Thats what a homeless shelter looks like.
  • They are depends what organisation you are with, they can range from a drop in centre where you just sleep overnight and get a good meal, to bedsit flats ( apartments ) for more permanent accommodation.
