Help answer this question below.
I recycle, use public transport, dry my clothes naturally, rarely eat meat, use energy saving bulbs and try my hardest not to waste anything (e.g. food).
I have a blue trash bin in which I put all recyclable containers such as 1-gallon milk cartons, cereal boxes, water bottles, and the like - also, I use the long-lasting light bulbs (as the previous poster also listed), and, I don't take long showers which saves a lot of water.
practice cpr(catch, photo, release) while fishing, recycle, carpool
Well i use less water by not flushing the toilet every time i pee in it. stoped wearing underwear less to wash, wear the same jeans twice if they aint to dirty, use the same bath towel twice. Take a shower with ur s/o to save water.
I walk or ride a bike, eat local organic food (within 250kms) although all my fruit and veg is grown within 15kms, use no toxins in the house or in or on my body (i'm forever looking up natural recipes for something), i eat little amounts of red meat (when i do i eat kangaroo, it's 99% fat free and it's a pest in many parts of Australia also they consume next to nothing over there life compared to livestock and they leave the land how it was), Use thermal loading and passive solar principles within the house.
I really want to get into 'Green Design and Architecture'.
Recycle, use the bus and LRT, reuse when I can to cut down on garbage, and never litter.
I feel so corny for answering but I do what I feel helps like not buying water in those plastic bottles. If i do have recyleable things in the house, I will recycle it by putting everythng in a certain color trash can. I even use my old beat up truck to take my son to the recycle place and recycle aluminum cans. I hope to learn more about what I could do because now I'm in my 30's I can see why it has always been important.
Between other things... I Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. I have given lectures in schools, and other institutions about environment, and environmental concerns.
I recycle and don't throw litters on the road ;)
Is it possible that humans exist because the Earth wanted plastic, and that now that the Earth has plastic, it's trying to get rid of us?
