    not really... females are prone to frequent UTI's because of their anatomy down there... the vagina and anal opening are close by, plus the urethra is short... all these predispose to frequent infections. you should talk to your doc, maybe a cause can be found (like kidney stones/ congenital deformity/ etc...

    No. If you have them frequently be sure your doctor is culturing to identify exactly which bacteria is causing the UTI, rather than just treating you based on symptoms or CBC.
