The company DeBeers has a very tight grip on the diamond market, and they pretty much dictate prices because they are able to manipulate the supply to meet whatever demand there is.
So, if they can help it, prices will never drop.
I think that's a supply and demand product.
You should have the authentication done and the tougher and brighter the cut and polish the better the value.Flawless diamonds are more valuable.+
