When eating watermelon, do you save the center for last, so each bite is better than the last?

I actually prefer the part right before you hit the white that lines the peel.

We used to do that in the olden days when all watermelons had seeds. We get the seedless watermelon now though and every bite is delicious, depending, of course,upon how good a selection you made! In fact we just had some watermelon a little while ago. Deelishus!:)

when i eat watermelon, i eat it right from the husk ... top down ... except for the last 1/2 inch or so ... without cutting it into pieces, it's hard to start at the outeredge and work your way in

NO. Always start with the middle. Life's uncertain, eat the heart first. mmmm Love watermelon!!! My dad used to salt his, said it made it taste sweeter.
