We know that aspirin can cause stomach bleeding, but what about the "enteric" coated kinds that supposed to protect the stomach lining? Can they still cause the stomach to bleed?

    no, the reason for the coating is to give the aspirin time to leave the stomach and break down in the small intestines. As long as you do not take narcotics with the aspirin as the narcotics would slow this emptying down.
