Double standards, and she needs to set him strait about it. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
-
Maybe she should have done what he did and don't ask, just go.
-
Hypocrisy. It's the gift that keeps on giving. They need to work this out now before it gets worse.
-
Tell your friend to find a more mature s/o. Hasn't he heard about "what's good enough for the goose......"
-
They obviously know how they act when they're there or how it makes them feel or else there wouldnt be a problem with you guys doing the same thing. Guilty lol
-
Nothing gives. If she wants to go with you she should. If she and her boyfriend want to agree to both avoid those type of shows fine. But that's not the case here.
-
"she was told she could not go"? Really? What army is gonna stop her? What gives? He is a selfish, insecure, male chauvinist who is a hypocrite. Geez..who wouldn't love such a guy? :(
-
seen this situation 100's of times....mostly he is insecure and knows how he acts and feels at such , and scared she is doing the same....that said, its his and her business , and if she puts up with such or not is her choice ...i'd point it out as a friend and let it go....
-
Maybe she practices her faith.
-
The dude doesn't want a sausage near his woman's face.
-
The s/o may be afraid of comparisons!
-
Forget what her boyfriend says. She should tell him she's going anyways so she could have some strange man's balls up in her face.
-
He's a hypocrite -- plain and clear.
-
anyone who has HBO knows that a strip club and a male revu are no where near similar. now i agree, if he doesnt want her to go, he shouldnt be going... but to anyone who claims its hypocritical is really misinformed cause they are nothing alike.
-
Sexual double standards. Today, a "cool" girlfriend is supposed to accept her boyfriend's habit of visiting strip clubs and even go along with him, but not a word is said about her right to go to a male revue. You should tell him that what's good for the goose is good for the gander, and encourage your friend to go along with you anyway.
-
My s/o has been to a few, however, he wouldn't want me to go, but it doesn't upset me, instead I *smile*.
-
Usually there is a difference between male and female shows... depending on the rules of the state you live in. Typically female stippers are all show and no contact, while the men in male shows are often allowed to get up close and personal with female patrons and make them part of the act. Either way it's all in fun and only for money. Your friend's s/o may not even know of these differences and is simply being jealous.
-
"She was told?" What gives is your friend needs to tell her s/o that he's not her father and she can go where she damn well pleases. Time to strengthen that spine a little.
-
What's good for the goose is good for the gander !! I love going to the nudie bars and I don't mind if my GF goes to the male reviews as most of the dudes there have a little sugar in their gas tank !
-
Who gets PERMISSION to go places from someone after you turn 18? LOL.
-
lol maybe he knows there is no way he will get lucky but he doesnt trust that she might not!
-
time for a less controlling S/O
