I dont see why, its fake. Its very warm & soft. I have a faux furry coat i wear in very cold conditions :)

I suppose there wouldn't be enough time to explain before they spray painted it.

Yes they do..... if I remember correctly. & I think their argument is that if you wear fake fur, no one knows it's fake, & therefore they might think you condone the use of real fur & so buy some themselves.... something like that anyway.
