Wanting to know if the bullet gets faster after it is shot out of a gun? Or is it at its fastest when it first comes out

    As soon as it starts moving on its own, free of the explosive charge, it begins to slow, due to friction of the air.

    The moment the bullet emerges from the muzzle end of a gun, it is moving it's fastest - it slows down from there. :-)
