Question

Help answer this question below.

I have been asked to write an article for my school magazine, which is read by 11-18yr olds. Any ideas?! I was hoping to write about something midly humourous, as I don't know how appropriate the serious stuff could be.

What do you like? It's hard to write about something that you don't really know about or that you're not into. You're on the internet, so why don't you do a story about cool websites - pic five categories and find thre websites for each category and write a few lines about them - you know, review them for your mates. You can even get some people to rate them - give them stars- anyway i'm sure you get the idea.

Maybe you could interview some teachers and get them to share stuff from their childhoods. Maybe to endear the student body to the faculty, let them know that teachers/principals/lunch ladies/custodians aren't all scary and/or domineering.

    I know I'd read it.

The first thing I could think of:

School etiquette- you could make this funny. Example: "NEVER pick your nose while eating lunch. The lunch ladies already took care of that!"

I would write about how people of the different age groups could start early working on thier credit, example, starting a savings account with a parent when they are younger. Putting money into the account as they get it. What to buy and payoff when they are old enough to hold down a job, etc. I never knew what a credit history was, until I was actually having to work on it, to make it better. We showed our child how to get a job, then how to get an account, then she got credit card offers, we showed her how to pick the best ones. We taught her to buy something small, then pay it off with her checks, then start over. It has really made her credit excellent, and she is only 19. Since the whole world revolves around someones credit rating, this would be a valuable lesson, to start early. Just an idea.
