If the measures of 2 complementary angles are 16z-9 and 4z+3 what is the measures of the angles?

    If they are comlementary, their sum is 90.

    So, the equation is:
    16z - 9 + 4z + 3 = 90
    20z -6 = 90
    20z = 96
    z = 4.8

    16(4.8) - 9 + 4(4.8) + 3 = 90
    76.8 - 9 + 19.2 + 3 = 90
    90 = 90
