In itunes I have approx 7000 songs im my music library. I have ticked off the ones that i want to copy..my question is How can I import the ticked songs into my ipod without dragging individually?

Should happen automatically if you set the programmer to "Synch only checked items."

Choose the "sync" option from the menu.
