You own 1/3 of the house. You are free to sell your 1/3 interest to whomever you choose. You cannot force the other owners to sell. Usually in this situation the owners want to sell. Lots of problems can come up. Each of you has the right to occupy/possess the house. The house can become involved if any of you bankrupt or have a judgment against you. I don't blame you for wanting to liquidate the property and take your part in cash. Talk to an attorney to see if you can force a sale in your state.

You're reading I have inherited a house along with two siblings. I have asked both siblings to either buy out my share or list the house for sale. They have continuously delayed in giving me an answer. What legal recourse do I have.
