No, none of the new PS3's offer this capability anymore, and they are also saying that it will never happen again, hence the major prices for the original PS3's.

I read a Yahoo! article recently that said "No" to any new PS3 console playing any PS2 games. That is, the new PS3 is not "backwards compatible".
Do you think the Hacker(s) who caused all that mess on the PS3 on line services will ever be identified and captured?
