To have a cure, you would first have to find the cause. Bad breath is just a symptom.
"In most cases (85–90%), bad breath originates in the mouth itself. The intensity of bad breath differs during the day, due to eating certain foods (such as garlic, onions, meat, fish, and cheese), obesity, smoking, and alcohol consumption. Since the mouth is exposed to less oxygen and is inactive during the night, the odor is usually worse upon awakening ("morning breath"). Bad breath may be transient, often disappearing following eating, brushing one's teeth, flossing, or rinsing with specialized mouthwash.
Bad breath may also be persistent (chronic bad breath), which is a more serious condition, affecting some 25% of the population in varying degrees."

Yes, reasonable dental hygiene and a good diet to insure good digestion. Many people don't know that if you get upset stomachs a lot or are eating a lot of junk food you can't digest your food well and that can come back to haunt you as bad breath.
Do you want to know something? My sense of
smell is good for a 40,000 year old man. But
it is not fantastic. And so,
I rarely smell other people's breath. I think bad
breath is some condition that is in your head or
in my head because they come up with something new in a commercial somewhere.
But if you can handle sugar, get the white Tic
Tacs, keep some on hand, and keep some money.
;
Brushing, flossing and rinsing! :D oh yea, and a good stong gum doesn't hurt either ;)
Flossing and brushing your teeth regularily, and blowing your nose, bad breath can come from your sinuses, old flem tends to smell.
My daughter had dragon breath a lot, even after brushing and flossing. She now rinses her mouth every morning with a little dixie cup that has half warm water and half hydrogen peroxide (it comes in a brown bottle and its about 69 cents) An oral surgeon told her to do it. I also do it myself. It tastes nasty but it works great for people who seem to get icky breath even though they brush daily. Also, our dentists tell us we have less to NO placque and tarter as well. A bonus, we have really white teeth and its perfectly safe to use. We have both done it for about 7 years now. No more dragon breath ! Give it a try. Its cheap. The bubbles it produces make oxygen in your mouth and that kills certain bacteria that hate oxygen.
Floss.
Brush with a good electric brush for 2 minutes twice per day.
Visit the dentist and dental hygienist
Not 'one of the above'. Do all three.
Floss
flossing, believe it or not, can play a major role in bad breath, even if you have brushed your teeth, so floss and brush your teeth and your tongue. it works.
Consistent bad breath is a sign of internal problems. I would do a whole body cleanse.
Eating crunchy fruits and vegetables is one way.
invest in wintergreen lifesavors.
Mouthwash helps a lot, especially if the package indicates it, but bad breath can also be cause by stomach trouble, so you need to see a doc if that's true.
go to dentist and get total oral care ,check your stomach condition, take good sleep, drink green tea,(flavonoids will work fine for it)
i'd shut up! hahaha! ;-)
The best and easiest is some good old fashion teeth brushing. In most cases bad breath is caused by bacteria and decomposing food particles in the mouth. It might take more than just a day of twice a day teeth brushing. Flossing would probably help as well I believe once a day is recommended. Gum and mints are usually only decent temporary fixes. When brushing you could also try going past just brushing your teeth but the roof of your mouth and the sides, my dentist told me once that this can go a long way as well in cleaning up bad breath.
Just maintain a regular dental cleaning by brushing your teeth, floss once a day...
Also use listerine mouthwash:)
put a bit of stainless steel in your mouth, it attracts all the bacteria
All of the above.
Plus a spoonfull of honey on occassions throughout the day.
Chew gum! Before that go to the dentist and have the teeth cleaned and brush regularly.
Make sure you drink lots of water and eat fruit such as apples and apricots. Also don't breath with your motuh open ! Too much air into the mouth drys it out causing bad breath, thats why when you wake up in the morning you don't smell the best ! lol =)
hydrochloric acid
Keep your mouth shut.
Visit your dentist regularly. Sounds like you have a build-up of plaque on your teeth and gums.
Lots of garlic!
carry breathmints with u :)

I have suffered with bad breath for about 9 years now. I spent a small fortune on bad breath cures. Nothing I tried seem to work even as it said it would. I read this site and think it is useful and gives me something to think about. In any case it is always helpful to just to have people writing about it. I did find this site http://www.oraltech.com.au their advice helped me most, I’ve got a boyfriend now so I think it’s working, hope it helps you too. Kindest, Kathy Jones. NJ.
Bad breath is an embarrassing health problem for many individuals all over the world. Finding ways on how to solve this kind of odorous problem can be frustrating at times. Fortunately, there are bad breath relief methods that can be done. Here are some of the effective methods my friend.
1. Visit Your Dentist
Your first priority is to visit your dentist. This is a good thing to do since the dentist will clean your teeth and advice the things you have to do to get rid of bad breath. Well, it is only proper to follow your dentist's advice and have a willful breath free day.
The recommended consultation to a dentist is 2 times a year. However, it is a great idea to visit your dentist at least every month to check thoroughly your teeth and mouth. It may cost you more but it is for your own good.
2. Flush out the Bad Odor in Your Mouth
It is best to flush out the bad odor in your mouth in the morning using water. Gargle water after waking up to eliminate bad odor. Remember that bacteria in the mouth multiply as we sleep so a water gargle is a good thing to do.
3. Brush Your Teeth Often
Always remember what your parents tell you. Brush your teeth regularly. Well it is not surprising since your parents only want the proper hygiene for you. Brushing your teeth eliminates plaque and mouth odor. This will definitely give you bad breath relief.
Choosing the right toothpaste is also a must. There are toothpaste products in the market that are recommended by dentists. These toothpastes should have fluoride and bacteria eliminator to prevent bad breath.
It is also suggested to brush your tongue. This is because germs thrive on your tongue hence; it should also be cleaned thoroughly. Regular flossing is also a must to take away the extra food that has been stuck in between your teeth.
4. Mint Your Mouth
In case you have no time to brush your teeth, you can chew on sugar free gums or candies that have a mint flavor. Although it seems absurd to use these products, it can be effective especially if you don't have the time to brush.
5. Hydrate
Hydrating or drinking lots of fluid or water will help get rid of bad breath. Hydrating will prevent your mouth to dry up. This is because the salivary glands will excrete more saliva to help flush odor causing bacteria in the mouth.
6. Avoid Alcohol and Cigarettes
Alcohol and cigarettes are definitely a "no-no". These bad vices will make bad breath worse. Remember, ti will also cause lung cancer and other types of problem in the body so cut these bad vices now to eliminate the foul odor in your mouth.
These are just some of the bad breath relief methods you can do. It is also very important to have a healthy lifestyle since imprefect breath can be just one of the underlying problems in your body.
Keep drinking water.
G'day 0o-nicole-o0,
Thank you for your question.
Bad breath can have a number of causes. However, chronic bad breath is caused by a condition called halitosis. It is caused by a wide variety of bacteria.
Ways of overcoming it are brushing regularly and breath mints. You should brush your teeth regularly and visit your dentist regularly. Watch your consumption of food and drinks such as alcohol, coffee, garlic and onions which lead to bad breath. Use a fluoride mouth rinse.
I have attached sources for your reference.
