I have ants crawling inside my water cooler, and they get into the water in the house. How can I stop this?

    You may want to try a few barriers of sorts. One is powdered cinnamon. That can be very effective. Orange oil can be great and provides a pleasing scent. Even Tea Tree oil can have some effect, but it is best to mix it with orange oil. Rosmary oil and wintergreen oils can provide insect killing power...actually, a lot of botanical herbs from mint to thyme to lavendar to basil to ...can provide insect control. Many spices work well. Depending on what you need to engineer, perhaps some of these can help.
