I got used to watching Jay Leno for years and years. Conan has a different sense of humor which I think is just not as funny.
I think you just got downrated by Conan.

I stopped watching when Johnny Carson left the Tonight Show. NOBODY could ever take the place of Johnny. But along came Jay Leno and many loved him and say that the Tonight Show just won't be the same without him. Now there is Conan O'Brien and the same will be said and done with him mas well.

We just get use to things one way and we don't like it to change.

Speaking only for myself, I stopped watching the show after Johnny Carson (1925-2005) left, in 1992.
There was no reason to watch from that point onward, because Johnny had NO PEERS.

I don't think Conan has the personality for the Tonight Show. He doesn't look comfortable in that role and it comes across to the audience. It takes more than humor to host that type of show and personally I don't think Conan has what it takes.

I don't like Conan now, and I didn't like his previous show. I used to choose between Leno and Letterman based on the guests. Now I watch Letterman only, unless its a repeat.
