    Easy, If you want to run a blog then get one from wordpress.org or blogger.com to mess around with nefrore paying for yout own. If you want to try out a forum for example then goto freehostia.com and signup. The fantastico package lets you trial several website types with ease.

    I did. I started out (12 years ago) using FrontPage. I still like it, but edit the HTML to get rid of a lot of "extra baggage" FP puts into the HTML.

    I make plenty and even sell them on and it's all down to control and quality. If you just want a website to sell from then get a php ecommerce website with a decent shopping cart and make it look as nice as possible and get some training in how to use it so you can control it. If you just want to talk away and present then get a blogsite or just go over to wordpress and make a nice theme and get some decent plugins and widgets.. and so on.

    You need to find your niche and what your good at and pursue that. Maybe read a bit of Napolean Hill or Brian Tracy
