    I wouldnt think so. Not if the oral history was given face on and the aurally deficient could lip~read.

    I don’t know about history, probably, but some things certainly are.
    I was at a dinner party in Kensington last week and Hermione was there. She apparently said, ‘ will you pass the brandied carrots please Bugler’ and I with my auricular difficulty thought she'd said ‘Oh my God, have you been trapped in a curry factory for a week Bugler, or were you helping Anastasia deliver piglets again?’
    Naturally I was a little put out at what I thought I’d heard, and naturally I’d taken Cecil with me to the party, the little fellow goes everywhere I go.
    Not everyone reacts favourably to a Bearded Dragon plodding through their gravy, and Cecil was apparently as incensed as I was at what we interpreted as cutting aspersions.
    I’ve never seen Hermione move so fast, too fast for the eye to follow in fact.
    It never occurred to me before what a terrific magician’s assistant she’d make.
