Was the moon landing faked? If yes then Why?

    i wonder. some of the FAA's air control centers are still using solid state devices, so, it makes you wonder if the landing might've been faked. also, president W bush made it a goal of landing back on the moon by 2020. that seems like a strange goal and time line if it had already been done before, right?

    No, it was real.

    My uncle was in charge of the Pad Cryogenics for the Apollo program at the Kennedy Space Center back in the day, a smart old fart he was - you couldn't have fooled him.

    Not faked. I have been an amateur radio operator for many years and I was a very active antenna experimenter. I designed antennas for listening directly to satellites and other space based sources. When NASA would launch the missions, I would point my antennas at where the apollo capsule would be in space during luna transition and I could listen directly to the astronaut's side of their conversations with mission control in Houston. The same thing when the lunar lander was on the moon. If I allowed my antennas to drift off-target from the capsule in space or from the lander on moon, I would loose the signal. You can't fake that.

    By the way many of my fellow amateur radio operators made did the same kind of listening and observed the same kind of targeting problems.

    Believe what you like but the fake moon landing theory is about as nuts as the theory that some Kenyan family posted a fake birth announcement in the Honolulu newspaper 47 years ago in case their son became president.

    I have heard, although I don't know if this is fact so you may want to do your own research, that our current scientists do not know exactly /how/ the past ones got to the moon and back. That is to say, they cannot replicate it yet. It seems that if it happened, then there would be a plethora of information, all be it available to NASA only, about the innermost workings of the mission. There's also the huge discrepencies in the footage, the flag waving, so on and so forth. I can't say for sure either way, I wasn't there, but given the enormous pressure for EVERYONE to get there and no one else has... yeah.

    I think It might have been, but i don't know for sure...I have read a lot about it and there is some pretty good eveidence agaisnt it.....research it and you will find 2 sides to the story

    i tend to be pretty cynical, that's why I lean the way I do

    Absolutely not. The landings were monitored by the UK (using a dish in Australia) and furthermore by the USSR, who discussed the Apollo flightplan with NASA to ensure there was no accidental collision with an unmanned lander the Soviets launched at the same time. Wouldn't you think the USSR would have loved to expose the Moon landing as fake?

    i think it was, there is so much to say they never got there. the main reason is the radiation that surrounds the earth. it would kill any life leaving earth. its farther out than the space station tho so we can go there.

    I don't know. I have always noticed discrepancies in the footage. I think maybe the footage was faked, but the event may have actually happened.

    As to why, we were in a bitter cold war at the time with the Russians. They had beat us to a couple of milestones, and our country needed a morale booster.

    NO!!! the idea that it was came from the disinformation surrounding alien life, because the controlling structures dont want you to know that the universe is populated very heavily. imagine what the future holds if we could just get into space. I dont know about you, but im ditching the human race first chance I get, Ive always been more of a Han Solo
