It's implied. He tells Bella that he didn't imprint on her, then when he sees Nessie she narrates the connection. Jacob then realizes that the reason he couldn't stay away from Bella when she was pregnant was because of Nessie being inside her and not because he loved Bella.

She was upset that her first couple chapters were illegally leaked onto the internet so she postponed it indefinitely. That makes me mad. I was really looking forward to that book!
