Massage therapist with benefits? ;-)
If they do that, they are not doing medical, therapeutic massage. I've never seen a legitimate massage therapist do that. My husband was a therapist for many years and he never did that nor did anyone he worked with.
The only thing we ever saw was one person who had 'trucker parking' and a hot tub available for tired travelers, ahem!
...because they're not really a massage therapist...
BECAUSE THEY'RE THE MASSAGES THAT COME WITH A HAPYY ENDING, NOT JUST RUBBING YOUR SHOULDERS LOL
Do you really want an ugly person massaging you?
I have not seen that by a licensed massage therapist. It would not matter to me if they have the gift of healing and can feel where my aches and stress-points are. I've been lucky when I can afford them. Not once did I notice their looks, but I do prefer women. +5
I imagine because it's a competitive industry...you gotta have something that shines brighter than the next massage therapist on the list. If the price were the same, would you rather have a massage from a Bay Watch girl, or an Ugly Betty girl? It's all in the marketing.
I think the answer is clear. If I don't tell people I am good looking they don't let ME put my hands all over them.
If I had to get a massage, even if it really IS just a massage, I'd still prefer it to be done by someone I find attractive.
They do? Can you send the link?
