You can select several cells and then Format>Cells>Merge cells. You will get one cell that is as high and as wide as the cells you selected.
You cannot.
You can't. The nearest you can get to that is to centre the contents of one cell across several cells and this only affects the apparent width of the cell, not the height.
If that is what you want select the cells that you want to be involved, right click on them, select Format Cells, select the alignment tab and then select Center across Selection from the Horizontal Alignment drop down list.
You can change the size of th efont but no the size of the cell.
