Yes tapes are still used, often for backup solutions. They usually have a very high bit density.
I have used tape backups in nearly every position I have worked in.
It isn't as common as it once was but it is still out there, possibly more prevalent than you'd think.
Yes. They're just not big reels any more. They're cartridges slightly smaller than a VHS cartridge.

Help i lost my password to the main user account for my hp notebook series ze4900. I can't get into the main user account to do anything & i have all the disks that came with my labtop but it won't let me whipe the hardrive! i am so confused what do i do?
