  • You're right, and it's really unfair, because the very old and the very young get by with it, while middle aged folks get scolded and berated. The really young are "too young" to know any better, and the really old are afflicted with senility. +5
  • Usually it's funnier when old people do it. They're the ones that tend to lecture you, so it's funny when they mess up +2
  • It's dangerous to start out a comment with the phrase "we all know", because it presupposes that "we" (whoever we/they are) know whatever follows. In your particular comment/question, however, you go on further to say something that cannot be true, because I know of at least one person who does not consider 'cussing' to be funny. Guess who that person might be? Me, of course. Anyone who HAS to punctuate their speech with profanity obviously lacks the intelligence to express their points without it (this is an opinion statement, my opinion, so don't get all bent out of shape). I find it not only less amusing when used by the very old or the very young, I can't understand why others DO enjoy it.
