I have done that only when I was meeting someone there
Norm and Cliff always did q:)
Sure, who needs to be accompanied to have a couple beers!
well for me it would depend on the club, and your intentions for going. if you're just there to pick someone up, then of course you can go alone. Or if there's something cool going on, a special event, and your friends don't want to go, then sure, why not. It really depends on your confidence level too. But if I met someone in a club and they were by themselves I wouldn't think they were lame or anything.
I have. I'm an only child so I am not at all afraid or ashamed to enter a social atmosphere by myself. Plus my opinion (I could be wrong) is that a lot of people don't want to go alone because people will think they're a loser or weirdo. And I just don't care what people think about me as long as they get to see the real me. +3
Nope.
No fun in going ALONE...
You need someone with you, to help post your bail.

i don't know.
Dude if u go with a hot blonde, the guardian goes like welcome sir! LOL i tried it when i was 17 it didn't matter i was underage when he saw the blonde!
I would, I would leave with someone new, however.
I've done it a few times in the past. When I was seventeen I moved to the next town, and to begin with instead of going to my old place to meet my friends just to come back again a while later I would just head up the high street I my new town and go to the pub myself, and wait for them to come into town. The problem was that they would arrange to meet me at seven but lose track of time and end up coming in about ten, leaving me to sit for three hours or whatever by myself, unless I had met someone else, so I started going out there at the start of the night after all....There has also been times when i fancied a night out but no-one else did, so I would go out myself, as you always end up meeting up with someone eventually.
as a guy i would go to the bars alone. easier to meet women and maybe get lucky.
Yes to the bar and I have many times.
Yep! I often do!! I always meet up with friends!! :-/
I do not go to the bar at all. I am fine with going to the club alone, but only occasionally. Sometimes I may decide to go for a movie at the club or to read the daily newspaper there.
I do, I used to hang out at coffee houses by myself and now that I am old enough I take a book and hit the bar.
Only to meet someone
...no way. I gotta have a girl that knows where I am and who im with....so if anything bad happens SOMEBODY will know im missing. Besides how much fun could that be....going alone. Not I.
bar
no probs- i do get depressed if i leave alone though
Once, when I was on a family holiday in Scotland, I went to one of the quieter bars (just a couple of rooms away from my family) and asked for a WKD Blue. They'd never heard of WKD, though, for some reason, so I had to order a different "alco-pop" (slang). I was legally allowed to drink by then, so I had no problem buying it. I was sitting alone, sipping my drink quietly, when an older guy tried to start up a chat with me. I'm no good at making conversation with people I don't know, so I confessed that I was there to spend a little while without my family around me, also saying; no offense, but I have a headache and that I'm not very good company when I get one (which is true, because the music I had to endure in the disco room, where my family were, had already provoked an oncoming headache, so I walked out of there). I made sure to say all this as politely as I could and he seemed okay about it, saying that if I felt like some company, he'd be over in the opposite corner. I just nodded, smiled and got back to my drink. I'm not a big drinker, so after that one, I went for a walk outdoors, hoping to clear my head a bit. I know that the drink wouldn't have helped my headache at all, but I did it anyway, because I hardly ever "walk on the wild side" and I didn't think that one alco-pop would make me much worse than I already was. Luckily, the headache didn't get any worse. In the end, I did get pretty tired, so I returned to our "adapted" caravan, though not before letting my mum know that I was heading back. Since then, I've only ever had an alco-pop last Christmas (WKD Blue, of course). =o)

Nope, one of the main signs of being an addict is when you drink/get high by yourself. It is socially acceptable, to do it alone is a sign of trouble
No
All the time. Nothing wrong with stopping off for a drink on the way home, I usually just sip a glass of wine and read the paper.
yes when i was depressed.
Of course!
If I have had a long week I sometimes reward myself with the fish fry on Friday at the local bar. A plate of fish and fries along with a couple drafts is a great treat.
Sometimes I meet friends while others I opt to sit alone and watch people.
There isn't anything wrong with going to the bar alone.
I have before when I was lonely. I do not go to bars much anymore at all.
Lol, nope but I thought about it a few times
Yes
That would be one bold move.. i would have to be dared into it.. **also i would only go if i am meeting someone there.. Infact i am going to dare myself to go to a bar by me self.. lets see how that works out..
@ The Airport..
Nope. I'd never go to either...ever.
No. I have a double scotch to keep me company.
Sure! When I'm stressed I just go to unwind and
have a couple beers sit beside the most
unattractive guy there and drink until he starts
to look attractive like a young Brad Pitt
I don't think I would...It's like when you're out at a restaurant and you see that guy sitting alone...eating a meal all by himself...It's the most depressing sight ever. Sure he could just be on a business call and not know anyone in the area, but still...I mean, invite SOMEONE. Everytime I envision that man I now think of him as homeless, living in a cardboard box in a shanty town of others, burning fires in trash cans to keep warm...entertaining themselves by reading the newspaper that they use to insulate themselves, hoping it doesn't get so cold at night that they don't wake up the next morning...their friends finding them frozen in place with fingers curled to the sky as if reaching for the clawed hand of Death, face frozen in a gaping, horrid open mouthed posture...
*Shudder*
But yeah, No I haven't.
wow just asked my roomate at the time, this question... he said yeah, i did before, but it was always when i knew there would be somone there that i knew.i dont think i will do if i didnt know anybody there. im a girl, and i thin kits unsaef for women...
