You're reading Why are people so obsessed with race? I really don't understand the question and I am trying to understand why. What can't we all just love one another regardless of the color of our skin?

you are probably right about that. i often have friend who date "outside" of their "Races" and yet are "racist". Isn't that weird?

They hate the race but not the individual.

I don't have time to evaluate each individual that I meet during the course of the day individually. So I do fall back to stereotypes. But I actually crave the opportunity to sit down and chat. I would say I have some predujuce, but hardly does it amount to racism, bigotry in my view. It's so wierd being racist but loving the company of the other. What's that? I can only assume they're starved for attention 'cause they are otherwise useless and he/she is the only one who tolerates/understands the other. Please tell, if I'm wrong about my 1st statement, I feel badly about it sometimes.
