In school people say hell is a bad word yet all can say heaven why not make them both be bad words?

    It is probably a left over from the more Puritanical days of our society. I doubt making a heaven a bad word would ever stick, since "heaven" has good overtones. I mean telling someone to go to heaven just doesn't have the impact of telling them to go to hell.
