  • not for me, im not standing next to you
  • Okay, we know how many times you take a bath. How often do you shower?
  • whats the difference between a bath and a shower?
  • It is disgusting. My husband takes a bath once a week, no shower. He smells and does not understand why i have no "desires" for him. No matter what i say or do, he WILL NOT take a bath. He says it makes him "itchy". He was not this way when we first met.
  • That is disgusting. Imagine a man who only takes a bath a week sitting next to you in a packed bus. You will probably puke, I assure you.
  • Not if you're having a shower every other day!
  • 1) Yes, in German "bad" means bath. 2) To take a bath once a week is certainly not bad. If you want to stay clean you certainly have to make also other things such as having a shower. "In Western culture, it is typical for people to bathe in the morning before starting the activities of the day or meeting with others outside the home. Arriving at work without having showered may be seen as a sign of unprofessionalism or slovenliness. In contrast, people in East Asia customarily bathe twice a day especially during the evening or the night, the rationale being that after a day's work one should remove sweat and dirt, in order to be comfortable and clean, thus keeping the bed clean." • Do you shower in between bathing?? I sincerely hope so!
  • I guess if you live in a very cold climate and don't do anything to make you sweat it is o.k. We take daily showers..I don't know if that is good or bad.
  • We rent a place that only has a bath and no shower. Running huge tubs is very expensive and time consuming - a shower takes ten minutes (or less) but it can be twice that just to get the water ready, for a bath. We wash our hair the old fashioned way (bent double over the edge of the bath, using a plastic jug from the taps) and often use a basin or bowl full of hot soapy water and flannels to wash down 'in the manner of a shower'. If you're not dirty or sweaty and you wash every day, it doesn't matter if you only steep in a tub once a week. There are ways and ways of getting clean in between times. I tell you what....when you pull the plug out, just once, leave the flannel in the bottom of the tub and don't wipe the bath round as it empties. If when its all emptied and dried out for a while you see a ring of grey soap scum left behind, or worse, streaks of dirt like a black tide on the bottom of the tub, THEN it means bathing once a week is bad, in your case.
  • Not if you take showers every other day at least!
  • IHMHO it's bad. But it's up to you. You may think it's OK but not be aware you may be stinking. And it's awful standing next to someone in the shop, train or anywhere else, when someone is stinking next to you, cos they don't bathe enough. You have to think of others as well as you self when it comes to cleanliness.
