Text books! Easily my favourite genre of books. I'm particularly fond of Grammars, especially German and Arabic, but Spanish grammars are fun too. Other text books are great too. Fiction doesn't work for me because if I KNOW it didn't really happen, then I don't care and biographies require that I care more about the lives of strangers than I really do. I tried reading the (auto)biography of Malcolm X and I kept thinking, "who cares?" Clearly someone must, but it wasn't me, so I put it down and never looked back
